DNCA Finance, an asset management company founded in 2000 and an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers since 2015, announces the arrival of two new European equity portfolio managers: Fabio di Giansante and Lorenzo Angelini. They both took up their positions on 18 November and will be based in DNCA Finance’s new Madrid office, marking the firm’s first establishment in Spain.
A complementary duo for active and flexible equity management
Fabio di Giansante and Lorenzo Angelini bring solid asset management experience, with more than 25 years for Fabio and 15 years for Lorenzo. They met at Pioneer in 2011 and worked together for more than eight years on the Amundi (Pioneer) Euroland Equities fund. Their investment approach combines rigorous fundamental analysis and tactical flexibility, within a “blend” management style that integrates both growth and value.
Fabio has an excellent long-term track record in European equities and is widely recognised in the industry for active European equity management. He has received multiple awards, including a nomination by Morningstar in 2011 among the three best European equity managers of the year.

Fabio Di Giansante – Biography
Fabio Di Giansante was previously Senior Vice President and Head of European Equities at Amundi, overseeing more than €13 billion in assets under management. Since 2007, he was the lead portfolio manager of Amundi Funds Euroland Equities, a strategy focused on the eurozone. He began his career in 2001 at NEXTRA Investment Management and joined Pioneer in 2007, which later became Amundi. Fabio holds a degree from the University of Chicago and is based in Spain.
Lorenzo Angelini – Biography
Lorenzo Angelini was previously a Senior Analyst at Bell Rock Capital Management LLP from 2019 to 2023. From 2011 to 2019, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Amundi, where he formed an investment team with Fabio. He began his career as an analyst at Pioneer in 2011. Lorenzo holds a degree from La Sapienza University of Rome. A keen sportsman with a strong competitive spirit, he was also a professional basketball player from 2000 to 2007.
