Investment platform Altix has taken a further step in its Belgian expansion with the appointment of Charlotte Declercq (31) as Head of Investor Relations & Partnerships. With this move, Declercq also becomes the third partner in the Belgian founding team, alongside Cedric Carbonez and Manfred Krcmar.

Altix, which makes private equity accessible to private investors, is shifting its focus from platform development to long-term investor support. In Belgium, the emphasis is on expanding the investor network and deepening strategic partnerships.

Declercq brings a combination of legal expertise in mergers, acquisitions and restructurings, along with strong ties to the Belgian M&A and private equity community. In previous roles, she consistently brought together investors, entrepreneurs and professionals, building deep insight into market dynamics and relationship management.

“Private equity is about trust, substance and having the right people at the right time,” said Declercq. “These principles form the foundation for building long-term relationships with investors in Belgium.”

According to co-founder Cesco van der Vliet, Declercq’s appointment is a key step in Altix’s strategic positioning: “Investors are not just looking for access to private equity, but for clarity, peace of mind and a partner who thinks along with them over the long term. Charlotte knows where substance matters and where connection makes the difference.”

Founded in 2022, Altix enables investments in private equity starting from €100,000 through diversified portfolios. To date, the platform has invested more than €230 million in private equity funds, working with a community of over 600 investors.
